FILLED WITH SUN

The last two days were literally full to the brim with the sun.

 And because of all this light I just couldn't resist this growing, immediate need to be surrounded by pastels

So I didn't hesitate for too long and filled my house with lovely, spring flowers and the aroma of such a light, lemony cake.

By the way, daffodils in my garden are nearly blooming, so this sun  cannot be the winter one anymore?!

I just read "Love is such a big word, it really should have more letters".

Yes, maybe. But sometimes you don't need to use any.

I know someone who knew it from the start. Standing in the nursery toilet, staring at a boy,

who was watching her all the time, she already knew it. Simple.

"He loves me"

"How do you know? Did he say anything?"

"No, he just looks at me and loves me"

I know when you're five years old, everything is so much simpler but still, love is love.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING...

I know someone who started to think about Christmas in September, well probably some of us do it. But this person is literally scratching off a day after day in his calendar until 24th December and made a statement that this is the best time of the year
 (I can let you know, my sweetheart, there are only 29 days left and that's nothing if you compare it to 115 days when you start counting in September). Another example is such a lovely and charming, legendary place in London - Liberty, a magnificent store, which was established in 1875. I just adore this place with its Tudor architecture and such an incredible attention to details, which are used to arrange this place. They also started selling Christmas decorations in September and created their amazing Christmas store with all those shiny, fairytale-like decorations - you can feel like in a fairy tale, really.
But to me this place at this time always reminds me of the sound of secretly rustling paper, which I heard lying in my bed while my mum was wrapping Christmas gifts thinking that I was already asleep...

So with just one month left till Christmas, should I feel like I am late?!
Actually I am not feeling that at all, I'm feeling like I am in the perfect time to start to prepare my decorations, lists of cakes and gifts... And this year, for some reason, although it's the busiest time for me, I can't wait for Christmas.
I always love this time but this year I just simply cannot, wait....

Znam pewna symatyczna osobe, ktora o Swietach Bozego Narodzenia zaczyna myslec juz we wrzesniu.
Prawdopodobnie niektorzy z nas rowniez, ale ta osoba skresla dzien po dniu w swoim kalendarzu az do 24 Grudnia..i juz dawno oswiadczyla, ze  dla niej Boze Narodzenie jest najpiekniejszym czasem w ciagu calego roku
(z przyjemnoscia zawiadamiam, ze zostalo tylko 29 dni do swiat co jest niczym w stosunku do 115, ktore byly na poczatku wrzesnia...bliziutko zatem i calkiem juz z gorki). Innym przykladem wrzesniowego startu swiatecznego jest naprawde piekne, legendarne miejsce w Londynie - Liberty, bajkowy sklep, ktory powstal w 1875 roku. Bardzo lubie to miejsce, z tudorska architektura
 i niebywala atencja w doborze detali - zarowno w aranzacji tego miejsca jak i towarow. Liberty zwykle zaczyna okres swiateczny
we wrzesniu, tworzac przepiekna, mieniaca sie kolorami sekcje swiateczna. Mozna poczuc sie jak w bajce, choc mi odwiedzanie tego miejsca nieodmiennie kojarzy sie z tajemniczym szelestem papieru, ktory slyszalam bedac w lozku z za zamknietych drzwi, podczas, gdy moja mama myslac,ze juz spie pakowala prezenty pod choinke.

Czy zatem, skoro niektorzy zaczeli juz we wrzesniu, powinnam czuc sie juz bardzo spozniona? Moze, ale wcale nie czuje, ze to juz
 za zakretem i nie zdaze. Nic a nic.
Czuje,ze jestem w swietnym momencie, zeby zaczac przygotowywac  dekoracje domu, liste ciast i prezentow.
 I, z jakiegos, mniej lub bardziej uswiadomionego powodu, w tym roku nie moge sie ich doczekac.
Zawsze lubilam swieta Bozego Narodzenia, ale w tym roku po prostu nie moge sie juz doczekac...

DUST ON MY BLOG! 

I don't know about you but personally, nearly every day I'm wondering what date it is today.
Obviously, I use my calendar every day but it's only to find what kind of jobs I need to do and never record the date - it's all just to find which day, deadline, meeting etc. it is. But in general understanding of time I am still simply surprised, really.
 And amazed that it's already summer, autumn (more actual I guess) and yesterday was still spring, followed by someone's birthday, and then someone else's. And overall, this and that was already last week. Well.. I haven't noticed. I am not sure whether this fact testifies the magnitude of all the things and situations surrounding me or maybe the rather miserable condition of my mind.
Or maybe it's really true that when you're getting older, the carousel spins faster - such fun, really... I am just hoping that it's not the beginning of a sad collapse which will need psychiatric help, so expensive sadly, because to see this in another way why not just lie on the couch and talk (am I wrong?). Anyway, I want to inform everyone that I realized it's October, holidays are over
(yes, I agree, it's just not fair), my last post was like two months ago or so, not yesterday - I guess I would be terrible with mail daily.
 And the flowers market is so packed and vibrant, cakes are baking every day - tarts with blackberries, lemon and apple cakes
(my neighbor is reliable and since August guarantees me delivery of the most organic apples in the world ever - I am eternally grateful to him, that's obvious, absolutely, the same like last year: click). And celebration cakes hiding in white boxes are delivered to all birthday boys and girls. So welcome to my autumn. Sunny, warm, colorful, with three calendars on the hand and full of cakes.
Maybe I just jumped in the right modes? Not so sure. Anyway, if you have any idea how to not miss time, let me know please.
I would be so grateful, who knows - maybe more than to my neighbors, if that's possible?

ZAKURZYLO SIE, ZE HEJ!

Nie wiem jak Wy, ale ja codziennie niemal zastanawiam sie jaka mamy dzisiaj date. Niby korzystam z kalendarza prawie codziennie, ale jakos tak zadaniowo i w ogole nie rejestrujac daty - dzien, termin, zamowienie, spotkanie etc. Ale tak w ogolnym pojmowaniu czasu to stale zaskakiwana jestem po prostu. I zadziwiona, ze juz lato albo  jesien (bardziej aktualne) a wczoraj byla wiosna jeszcze, juz urodziny te i tamte. A w ogole to a no tak, to to juz bylo w tamtym tygodniu. Hm..nie zauwazylam. Nie jestem pewna czy ten fakt swiadczy o mnogosci zdarzen mnie otaczajacych czy raczej o marnej kondycji mojego umyslu. A moze naprawde z wiekiem karuzela naprawde kreci sie szybciej - no frajda, naprawde. Mam szczera nadzieje, ze to nie sa poczatki jakiejs zapasci wymagajacej szybkiej interwencji psychologiczno-psychiatrycznej. W kazdym razie informuje, ze zorientowalam sie ,ze jest juz pazdziernik, wakacje za nami (zgadzam sie , to strasznie nie fair), i, ze ostatni wpis byl nie wczoraj ale prawie dwa miesiace temu (tak sobie mysle, ze w nadawaniu codziennych wiadomosci bym raczej przepadla).  Zawiadamiam, ze markety uginaja sie od kwiatow, wibrujac kolorami
a ciasta pieka sie  codziennie..tarty z jezynami, ciasta cytrynowe i z jablkami (sasiad nie zawodzi i od polowy sierpnia gwarantuje dostawy najbardziej organicznych jablek na swiecie- jestem dozgonnie wdzieczna za ta dobroc, podobnie jak w zeszlym roku: klik)
 i niezmiennie torty chowaja sie w biale pudelka i wyruszaja w droge do solenizantow...
A zatem to moja jesien. Sloneczna, ciepla, kolorowa, z trzema kalendarzami pod reka i pelna pachnacych ciast.
Moze wlasnie wskoczylam na wlasciwe tory?  Nie jestem taka pewna.

Jesli wiec ktos z Was ma jakis pomysl na nie mijanie sie z czasem bede bardzo wdzieczna, moze nawet bardziej niz mojemu sasiadowi, jesli to w ogole mozliwe. Usciski !

Hi everyone! After a very relaxing Easter weekend everyone needs to back to normal... unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on the point of view ). So to make this return a bit easier just a quick memory from one of my visits in this month. As I mentioned I visited the International Cake exhibition, where I found so many incredible cakes in different categories - wedding

 or birthday cakes, cupcakes... you could even find different animal cakes. And I have mixed feelings about some of them. Are they for eating or just to admire?! Because if they are for eating shout I eventually start tasting them from let's say... dog's tail (the dog cake was the winner in one

 of the competitions), well I am not sure... I am wondering what you think about it? 

Anyway some of them are real works of art...

Wielkanoc za nami i niestety (albo"stety" w zaleznosci od punktu widzenia) wiekszosc z nas wraca do codziennych spraw i obowiazkow. W poprzednim poscie wspomnialam o moje wizycie  na wystawie International Cake, gdzie mozna bylo zobaczyc naprawde wiele niezwyklych ciast. Pokazane byly w roznych kategoriach - torty weselne, urodzinowe, drobne wypieki, mozna bylo znalezc nawet kategorie ciast w ksztalcie zwierzat. Ogladajac je mialam mieszane uczucia. Zastanawiam sie czy te ciasta so do jedzenia czy raczej tylko do podziwiania. Jesli jednak do zjedzenia, to z ktorej strony powinnam zaczac ewentualna konsumpcje....od ogonka tego slicznego pieska?! No, nie jestem pewna. Ciekawa jestem co Wy o tym myslicie? 

Niezaleznie od moich dylematow niektore z pokazywanych ciast to naprawde male dziela sztuki...

Hello on Saturday morning!

 Did you recognize that there's only one week left till Easter? The weather is beautiful and I hope it will stay for longer and is not going to change dramatically just on 

 Easter Sunday! Fingers crossed! 

Some time ago I made a birthday cake for a lover of jelly beans. It was

 a vanilla cake with raspberry cream and a jelly bean waterfall surprise inside.

 After cutting the first piece of this yummy cake all hidden jelly beans came out. It was fun and an authentic happiness of all those little amused guests! So I've been thinking how can I use this idea and decided to make an Easter chocolate egg waterfall this time. I think it's a great idea especially for all those egg hunters who, I guess, will be so active on Easter Sunday!

Dzis sobotni poranek i tylko jeden tydzien zostal do swiat wielkanocnych. Za oknem piekna, sloneczna pogoda i mam wielka nadzieje, ze taka pozostanie i nie zrobi nam psikusa dramatycznie zmieniajac sie w deszczowa np...w wielkanocna niedziele. Trzymajmy kciuki! Jakis czas temu zrobilam urodzinowy tort dla malej wielbicielki zelkow!. Byl to waniliowy biszkopt

 z truskawkowym lekkim kremem i mala niespodzianka w srodku - zelkowa fontanna, ktora po ukrojeniu pierwszego kawalka tortu "wylewala" sie na zewnatrz, budzac radosc wszystkich malych (i duzych) gosci. Chcac wykorzystac ten pomysl przygotowalam wielkanocna wersje tortu - z fontanna malutkich, czekoladowych jajeczek. Mysle, ze to swietny pomysl dla wszystkich lowcow wielkanocnych slodkosci, ktorzy wyjatkowo uaktywniaja sie w swieta wielkanocne (przynajmniej w moim domu!).

Hi there! That was a break while I had visited York (such a pretty, old town) and also International Cake, which is still on in London, full of incredible cakes - not sure if "cakes" is
 a good description for what I saw yesterday!?  I would love to try some of them but there were signs "Do not touch, please" everywhere so as a good girl I didn't touch, just admired. I'll show you some of them soon as today more Easter ideas are coming...

Zrobilam sobie krotka przerwe w przygotowaniach do swiat, podczas ktorej odwiedzilam York (bardzo ladne, stare miasto) i International Cake, wystawe wypelniona niesamowitymi ciastami. Przy okazji nie jestem pewna czy "ciasta" sa dobrym okresleniem na to co wczoraj widzialam. Chcialabym naprawde ktoregos z nich sprobowac, ale wszedzie byly napisy "Prosze nie dotykac", wiec starajac sie zachowac choc odrobine kultury osobistej, nie dotykalam a jedynie podziwialam. Nie bylo to takie proste, przy niemal kazdym kusilo mnie by dotknac i sprawdzic czy
 sa naprawde "zywe". Juz wkrotce pokaze Wam niektore z nich a dzisiaj wiecej wielkanocnych propozycji ...

Easter preparation - time to start! It seems like this year Easter is somewhere near ...summer
 but it's good news for anyone who likes warm, nice weather (hello!) because it should be sunny and warm at that time. So fingers crossed for an amazing weather, great mood and company
 and shall we start our preparations from decoration?
 Here it is - a pretty, little rose on an Easter decoupage egg.
This is one of my favourite patterns!
Tomorrow a new one will come - polka dot or with rabbits (who knows?).

 W kolejce czekaja kolejne wzory - kropki z elementami pudrowego rozu, kroliczki, sloneczne margaretki i...jeszcze wiecej rozu.
 Tutaj mozna zobaczyc je wszystkie: klik, ale jesli macie ochote na wiecej zdjec zapraszam jutro!

Hi lovely folks! Valentine's Day is on its way... There are so many simple ways to show others our care, attention and love. Just look carefully in the face of someone close to you  and ask them 

"How are you feeling today?" and wait until you get the real answer. Give them flowers with no occasion, send them a message  " I am here for you!" in the middle of a busy day or put a home made cookie in their work bag... I know you can also buy a brand new Rolls-Royce 

or whatever...well, it's up to you. Just do it and never forget about it.

 Simply one of the most important things in our life!
