LOVE WITHOUT WORDS

I just read "Love is such a big word, it really should have more letters".
Yes, maybe. But sometimes you don't need to use any.
I know someone who knew it from the start. Standing in the nursery toilet, staring at a boy,
who was watching her all the time, she already knew it. Simple.
"He loves me"
"How do you know? Did he say anything?"
"No, he just looks at me and loves me"
I know when you're five years old, everything is so much simpler but still, love is love.
Let's make it easy, clear, and free from drama. And let's share it, even if it sounds naive.
Will you join me?

Enjoy your day!

CHRISTMAS IS COMING...

I know someone who started to think about Christmas in September, well probably some of us do it. But this person is literally scratching off a day after day in his calendar until 24th December and made a statement that this is the best time of the year
(I can let you know, my sweetheart, there are only 29 days left and that's nothing if you compare it to 115 days when you start counting in September). Another example is such a lovely and charming, legendary place in London - Liberty, a magnificent store, which was established in 1875. I just adore this place with its Tudor architecture and such an incredible attention to details, which are used to arrange this place. They also started selling Christmas decorations in September and created their amazing Christmas store with all those shiny, fairytale-like decorations - you can feel like in a fairy tale, really.
But to me this place at this time always reminds me of the sound of secretly rustling paper, which I heard lying in my bed while my mum was wrapping Christmas gifts thinking that I was already asleep...

So with just one month left till Christmas, should I feel like I am late?!
Actually I am not feeling that at all, I'm feeling like I am in the perfect time to start to prepare my decorations, lists of cakes and gifts... And this year, for some reason, although it's the busiest time for me, I can't wait for Christmas.
I always love this time but this year I just simply cannot, wait....

Znam pewna symatyczna osobe, ktora o Swietach Bozego Narodzenia zaczyna myslec juz we wrzesniu.
Liberty zwykle zaczyna okres swiateczny
we wrzesniu, tworzac przepiekna, mieniaca sie kolorami sekcje swiateczna.

Nic a nic.

Have a great day!

Hi there! That was a break while I had visited York (such a pretty, old town) and also International Cake, which is still on in London, full of incredible cakes - not sure if "cakes" is
a good description for what I saw yesterday!?  I would love to try some of them but there were signs "Do not touch, please" everywhere so as a good girl I didn't touch, just admired. I'll show you some of them soon as today more Easter ideas are coming...

Zrobilam sobie krotka przerwe w przygotowaniach do swiat, podczas ktorej odwiedzilam York (bardzo ladne, stare miasto) i International Cake, wystawe wypelniona niesamowitymi ciastami.
Juz wkrotce pokaze Wam niektore z nich a dzisiaj wiecej wielkanocnych propozycji ...

Hi lovely folks! Valentine's Day is on its way... There are so many simple ways to show others our care, attention and love. Just look carefully in the face of someone close to you  and ask them
"How are you feeling today?" and wait until you get the real answer. Give them flowers with no occasion, send them a message  " I am here for you!" in the middle of a busy day or put a home made cookie in their work bag... I know you can also buy a brand new Rolls-Royce
or whatever...well, it's up to you. Just do it and never forget about it.
Simply one of the most important things in our life!

Have a great week and try to catch some sun!

Warm welcome on a chilly Monday morning!

One month and Christmas will be here. Sometimes I wonder when exactly Christmas begins, because when I go to the shop, lets say in late October or very early November, it seems like I missed something, because everywhere there are a lot of Christmas decorations and festive chocolates. Yes, I know it's market law! In one way it's good, because you can prepare your gifts and cards without haste. But sometimes I feel like we are losing our natural rhythm.
Sounds a bit nostalgic..? Well...

But now it's not October any more and next Sunday, December will start, which means that my children will start their advent calendar - just one chocolate per day, in the early morning, even before breakfast (such a Christmassy sign in our home)  So for me the first day of December is a day when I start to plan my Christmas - my home made, very traditional dishes,
festive decor, delicious, fresh cakes and, of course, gifts!

And as I have always been doing my Christmas gifts for my family and friends by myself
(apart from the wishes in letters to St. Claus, of course), I think that a home made hamper is the perfect idea. An the beginning it was just a box of delicious, festive biscuits but from last year my hampers started to be bigger and  more festive, which makes me happy, because I can be more creative and put my love for aesthetics and good taste in my hampers... You know it all smells of chocolate, cookies, cinnamon, oranges and all those ribbons and bows, and the whisper of paper, when you wrap the gifts and when they're unwrapped later. It sounds like a box of treasure for me. I devote all my attention when I am doing this because I think that it's so important to show to our friends and family how important they are for us. And honestly there are not that many moments in our everyday life when we say to them "Thank you for being for me!". Yes, it happened, a very nostalgic post, but this is where all begins - with and for the people close to us!

Hi there! How are you today? As I mentioned to you in my last post, there's a lot coming up,
and so today I wanted to show you a decopatch treasure box which I recently made for a lovely girl.
It's finished with a vintage-style lace, which gives it a slightly old-fashioned look.
How do you like it?

Hello everyone!

It was such a windy, windy, windy day, and I hope that this wind will bring us even more sun and warmth! Anyway, today I want to show you a little bit more of decopatch decorations.
Here are some bookends (every book can be safe now - it will never fall down and will look even prettier, I think), which are in the same pattern as decopatch letters from the last post.
It seems like it's not just my favourite pattern then...

Enjoy your weekend!

Hi there!

Today there was no rain, no wind - just a warm, sunny day. Hurray!
I've been waiting for that for so, so, so long. And not only me, I guess?!
I'm hoping for the next days to be just as nice as today,
and I definitely wouldn't mind them being even warmer...
While enjoying today's sun, I finished another flower-patterned initial letters
- my favourite decopatch pattern to work with! I hope that the charming girl
called Zosia will like them!

And to everyone - have a lovely, sunny week!

Welcome to another windy morning!
Recently there has been a lot of sweet stuff here and I have another one because
of my last order from a coffee lover, which was a lovely new experience to make
a delicious, truly coffeee-flavoured cake. But I'll show it to you in a few days
- today you have to see my special initial letter which I've already made many times before,
but I've never had a chance to show you - they sold out so quickly!
This perfect door decoration
is made with the decopatch technique
and I really love all the different colours I can work
with while preparing them!
And it's such a pleasure to see the smile of the little girls and boys
who see them on their door ("Look - it's MY room!" with a proud cheeky smile!).

Hello again! So.. here are my Easter egg cookies - different sizes, different colours, and so delicious! Great as an Easter gift or for your Easter afternoon tea, because it's made of shortcrust pastry and chocolate. How do you like them?
